Job Title: Graphic Designer & Videographer

 

Main Accountabilities:

• Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact from conceptualization and design of solutions from concept to completion

• Lead on huge variety of projects, including design, photography & videography, identity (to build on visual ‘brand’), advertising, websites, design briefs, create layouts and final art work and any additional marketing collaterals

• Manage multiple design briefs simultaneously, estimate the time required to complete the work and allocate time according to the priority of the job

• Responsible for conceptual photography & Photo Shoots of Professional Standard including events, school / nursery activities, field trips, candid photography, conceptual ad shoots etc. for all Business Units. The resource will also equip the marketing department with necessary photography equipment and accessories to carry out this task

Responsible for conceptual videography leading conceptual social media video shoots, video editing and ace use of video editing softwares.

• Provide support for setup of audio & visual devices and live events (like audio mixer, mics, speakers, projectors and screens) for events & presentations

• Have an optimistic outlook and flexible temperament in a fast-paced working environment

Graphic Designs & Creative

• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts

• Producing communication as per plan for

• Above the line – dailies, magazines, etc.

• Below the line – flyers, brochures, prospectus, SMS, direct mail, outdoor

• Social – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Blogs, etc.

• Outreach – Event / Exhibition participation, stalls, booths, mall promos, etc.

• Events – Monthly events, open houses, coffee mornings, challenges and more

Out of home – Print & Digital

• Provide final production artwork to production partners/ suppliers

• Work with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design

• Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer

• Research new software or design concepts – AI based

• Produce still and animated graphics for on-air and taped portions of television news broadcasts, using electronic video equipment

• Photograph layouts, using camera, to make layout prints for supervisors or clients

• Curate, archive and manage data bank of suitable images, including in-house pictures, stock imagery, and digitally manipulated images.

Audio & Video Production

• Responsible for recording key live events across business units.

• Editing and Producing High Quality AV Content that can be used across various channels such as Official Website, YouTube Channel, Social Media, Events, etc.

Create theme based vidoes to support marketing promotions across various media channels

• Perform the role of expert / advisor on AV Production Projects and back advise with sound research and analysis

• Handle professional Video Shoots as and when they are warranted, and project manage till final product

• Procure tools / equipment as necessary, and suggest improvements to the AV Production Process

Photography

• Responsible for Photographing key events across business.

• Reworking / Retouching Pictures that can be used across various channels such as Official Website, Social Media Presentations, Collateral, Events, etc

• Perform the role of expert / advisor on Photography Projects and back advise with sound research and analysis

• Handle professional Photo Shoots as and when they are warranted, and project manage till final product

• Procure tools / equipment as necessary, and suggest improvements to the Photography Production Process

Website & Email Marketing

• Work on all official Email/Newsletter Templates / Designs for all Business Units

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• 4-5 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer with excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite of Products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Midjourney, Flash Professional, Fireworks, Acrobat X Pro, Bridge, Media Encoder, HTML

• Strong working knowledge of Audio / Video Editing Software such as SoundForge, Audacity, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Elements, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, ActivePresenter, Lightworks, etc.

• Must be able to work on both Windows and MAC environments with high proficiency

• Strong typography skills, with ability to create storyboards

• Artistic with good knowledge of graphics optimization for the web with strong layout and pagination skills

• Good knowledge of various production media / material and should be able to select and advise suitable media.
